Ballwin-Chesterfield Awards for 2010-11 Service
In June, 2011, the National AAUW Convention was held in Washington, DC. Our branch was well represented at Convention! Thirteen members attended: Sue Barley, Marian Bauer, Marcia Block, Sandy Camillo, Terri Ciccolella, Erlaine Eltomi, Karen Francis, Ruth Griffin, Darlene Harris, Yvonne Morrison, Doris Nistler, Pat Shores, and Julie Triplett. Good news for Ballwin-Chesterfield is that branch member Sandy Camillo was elected to the AAUW Board of Directors. Also, Karen Francis was appointed to the Leadership Corps. Julia Triplett and Marcia Block displayed branch projects: WellstonSchools STEM Project and the Why So Few? Women in STEM Fields Toolkit as part of the Breaking Through Barriers Award competition.
